Dallas-Fort Worth Labor Market Update

The Dallas-Fort Worth labor market gained 14,600 jobs in May, driven mainly by employment gains in leisure and hospitality. 

According to the UT Dallas Office of Facilities and Economic Development, overall job postings declined as the unemployment rate rose from 3.5% in April up to 3.7% in May while the local consumer price index saw a slight increase.
