Important UT FLEX Deadlines

Employees with remaining balances in the UT FLEX plan for 2024-2025 should be aware of upcoming deadlines for incurring and submitting expenses.
Since flex-spending funds that are not used during the plan year (or the health care grace period) will be forfeited, it is important to be aware of the following information.
Health Care Reimbursement Account (HCRA)
For medically necessary health care expenses, including dental- and vision-related expenses.
The last day to incur HCRA expenses for active employees is Saturday, Nov. 15. Terminating or retiring employees will have until the last day of the month in which employment ends, unless they are continuing their UT FLEX account through COBRA. The last day to file claims is Sunday, Nov. 30.
Dependent Day Care Reimbursement Account (DCRA)
For dependent day care expenses for dependent children younger than 13.
The last day to incur DCRA expenses is Sunday, Aug. 31 and the last day to file claims is Sunday, Nov. 30.
