Dallas-Fort Worth’s gross domestic product (GDP) grew to $744 billion in 2023, a robust economic expansion that surpassed the GDP of many nations.

According to the UT Dallas Office of Facilities and Economic Development, many DFW industries are highly concentrated in the region and offer earnings that are above the U.S. average, which contributes to a strong job market.
