Dallas-Fort Worth Labor Market Update

The Dallas-Fort Worth labor market gained 20,700 jobs in April driven primarily by gains in the leisure/hospitality and professional and business services employment categories.
According to the UT Dallas Office of Facilities and Economic Development, the unemployment rate dropped from 3.8% to 3.5%. Overall job postings rose 4.6% while the consumer price index saw increases across Texas and the U.S.
