Dive into Analysis of Texas Import, Export Trends

The UT Dallas Facilities and Economic Development team has released its latest analysis of import and export trends for the United States and Texas amid evolving trade dynamics.
Since 2020, trade activity at the national level has grown steadily, with Canada, Mexico and China remaining key partners, though the U.S. has recorded a trade deficit. Texas followed a similar trend, with Mexico as our leading trade partner, but closed 2024 with a trade surplus.
