OIT Invites Employees To Join Generative AI Teams Channel

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) has created a new Microsoft Teams channel to provide information and updates about generative artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives on campus.
The Generative AI Teams Channel is a place for sharing relevant events, updates, Q&A sessions and information on generative AI topics. Faculty and staff are invited to join the channel, which is a closed community, accessible by registration only.
The channel serves as a hub for:
- General information about generative AI.
- Event announcements and opportunities.
- Latest news and updates from UTD.
- Quick tips and use cases.
- Teaching innovations and more.
To enroll, employees should email the OIT generative AI team, confirming interest in joining the group.
