October Is Employee Giving Month at UTD

This month, UT Dallas faculty and staff are encouraged to support the University or other local, regional and national nonprofits.
There are various ways to get involved:
- Payroll Deduction: Support your favorite school, department or initiative through a payroll deduction gift on Gemini, the employee portal.
- One-Time Gift: Make your one-time gift to any area of campus and be counted in October.
- Comet Cupboard Food Drive: Donate items to the Employee Giving Food Drive via bins in multiple locations across campus. Fill out your name, NetID and department to be counted.
- Temoc’s Closet Clothes Drive: Donate items to Temoc’s Closet via drop off to the Basic Needs Resource Center (SSB 4.300). Fill out your name, NetID and department to be counted.
- State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC): Support a local, national or international nonprofit organization in October and use payroll deduction via the SECC website.
The October goal is to have 300 UT Dallas employees participate in employee giving. To learn more about employee giving or if you need help with either your SECC pledge and/or a UT Dallas payroll deduction gift, please email Aisha Dibaki.
